Holding a Family Council
Estimated time to complete the course is 60 minutes.
Why is it important to hold Family Councils or Family Meetings? For the most part, hectic and busy lifestyles sometimes barely give us time to speak with, no less follow through with, other family members. Family Council meetings force us to slow down and take stock of our families: their needs, wants, wishes, and sharing times. Commitments to each other are solidified, misunderstandings are straightened out. Like anything else that works well, holding successful meetings takes some training. This course will describe the elements that make up the family council, basic guidelines for successful family meetings, methods of overcoming roadblocks to family unity, and tips that lead to successful family meetings.
