As a parent, behave in a way which is in agreement with what you wish for your child. Your child will pay more attention to what you do, than to what you say. Most of us remember that old line, "Kids will do what you do-not what you say!" In parenting books and classes, "modeling" is the concept one hears to remind us of the well-proven truth. Changing our own behavior may be challenging, but trying to change someone else‘s behavior is even more so! It‘s never too late to practice what you preach...start now, so you children will too!!
